IHR is funded by many different sources as it strives to meet the needs of its clients. Its primary sources of funding are: Illinois Department of Human Services: Office of Mental Health, Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse, and Division of Community Health and Prevention, Livingston County Mental Health Board, and Department of Children and Family Services. Additional funds are generated by clients fees (sliding scale) and by third party payments. Donations are also received each year from United Way and other various charitable groups, businesses, and private individuals. All donations are tax deductible.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
IHR is governed by a Board of Directors of no less than 7 members, which represent different sections of the county. This Board makes policy and establishes programs in the area of mental health and substance abuse. Through its Executive Director, the IHR Board makes monthly reports on both fiscal and clinical matters to the Livingston County Mental Health (708) Board.
